Producers make up the most important segment of the Cannabis industry by far, accounting for 55% of the listed companies and 90% of the total sector market value.
Category descriptions
- Producers – companies whose primary business operation is the cultivation of cannabis. Most producers will also engage in distribution.
- Service – companies that provide services to the Cannabis industry including consulting, financing, equipment and facility rental, technology systems, etc.
- Pharm & Clinics – companies that provide processed cannabis products and/or clinician services specifically for medicinal purposes.
- Ancillary & Derivative Products – companies that engage in the production or sale of products related to the Cannabis industry including paraphernalia and edibles.
